Batangas boasts of its’ abundant natural beauty and a rich colorful heritage. Historical landmarks, white sands and coral beaches, heritage towns, native crafts and a lot more abound the beautiful province of Batangas.

The province of Batangas is often referred as the “Rome” of the Philippines because of the ancestral churches, which includes twenty four pilgrimage churches. A pilgrim receives a plenary indulgence every time he or she visits any of these churches. Plenary indulgence is the Church’s way of remission of all punishment due to forgiven sins which can be applied to oneself or the other souls in purgatory and it cannot be applied to another person still living on earth.

Every city and town of the province of Batangas offers its visitors not only great sights but unique great taste and great finds.
